ZOË TOMALIN
AWARD-WINNING COMEDY WRITER
Zoë Tomalin is writer working across scripted comedy, entertainment and children’s TV, as well as audio. She is a recipient of the prestigious David Nobbs Memorial Comedy Writing Award.
Her current projects include a How To Be A Sensei, a 10 x 40' comedy-drama with Nippon TV and Badjelly, TVNZ's animated Spike Milligan adaptation starring Miriam Margolyes and Rhys Darby.
Since 2019 Zoë has been a regular writer on Have I Got News For You, and is a prolific entertainment writer with credits on everything from 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown to Hypothetical and The Now Show.
In 2022, she co-wrote and produced the Channel 4 Comedy Blap Late Night Forever! ("bold and ambitious... imagine a chat show directed by David Lynch" ★★★★ - Chortle), which is available to stream on All4 and YouTube. In the same year, Zoë also won a British Podcast Award for SeanceCast, a comedy-horror sketch show co-created with Charlie Dinkin.
